Not necessarily.

When the user selects 2 revisions on the directory log, we need only to
display the list of files that were modified. (Actually, this is already
done on a revision by revision basis - but here it should be done for a set
of revisions.)

The diff is done only if/when the user double clicks one of the files in
this list. Even then, it is only one file at a time.
