Aye? Now I'm confused!
Haven't seen this undesired behaviour in any of the nightlies for at
least a couple of weeks?

Are we even talking about the same thing?
The "strip last component of path URL if not terminated by a slash" thing?

Eg. entering "http://repo_server/repo/" correctly browses to repo but
"http://repo_server/repo" doesn't?
