Hi,

Yes, I think a folder should just display modified or not modified regardless
of the type of modification unless you actually have made changes of the *folder*.
This would be consistant and easy to comprehend and you would avoid
the issue of what to display when there are several different types
of modifications in a folder, e.g. for a folder with an added file and a deleted file
what overlay should be displayed?

I think this would be an improvement, anyway thanks for your effort.

But what about conflicts? Should the folder also show just a modified
overlay if there's a file with a conflict below it?
