I'm on a single 2.4GHz P4 without hyperthreading and it is happening for me.

When it happens, TSVNCache starts to eat memory (about 20Mb at a time).
  I kill it when I notice explorer has hung and it has been anywhere
between 200Mb and 600Mb.
