When I do the configuration for my dev team, I am using all of the defaults for
TSVN. The only things I change in the settings are to add the path
TortoisePlink.exe for the SSH client and for some to add KDiff3 as the external
Diff/Merge program.
I double checked one of the locking systems and verified that the "Force shell
icon refresh" setting is unchecked.
I did try unchecking the "Show folderstatus" option, which actually did seem to
make a difference. Without this option TSVN now only seems to hang when adding
or reverting a file. Note that when Explorer hangs, the window no longer
refreshes and has hung for at least 10 minutes before killing it (this is true
for 2 of the 8 systems I have configured thus far). On the working systems
there is never any delay after closing the TSVN dialogs.
Could this possibly be a permissions problem?
