You should have looked into the SVN Book at http://svnbook.red-bean.com/:
| LastChangedRevision
| This keyword describes the last known revision in which this file
changed in the repository, and
| looks something like $LastChangedRevision: 144 $. It may be
abbreviated as Revision
| or Rev.
So $Revision$ should work in any SVN client which uses the Subversion
library (as done by TortoiseSVN).
I understand it, that you have to set LastChangedRevision in
svn:keywords to enable expansion of $Revision$.
