Err. Maybe I'm not quite understanding the setting, but I can't find a
difference between the old tool and the new.

Using the regex ".{5}$" should, theoretically, match the last five
characters from every line. Instead, it returns the last five characters
from the entire file in both the old and new RegExpTest tools.

Either I'm missing something, I'm getting completely mixed up in my tests
or the MULTILINE flag is not behaving at all like I was expecting...
