You mean, so that I can then ask people for the version number, have them
come back and ask me how to check, then give me completely the wrong answer
anyway. And when they give me the build number I'll need to go back to the
logs to work out which nightly that was built on and establish that I
haven't got the .PDB files for it.

And have to fiddle with the build scripts to have them update the version
resource automatically.

When all I really wanted was 'last night' or 'the night before last'

Sounds good, I can't wait. :-)

But you're right, there probably should be a version resource.
