I recall an instance when I had something similar and if I remeber
correctly it was due to a problem
with svn:eol-style:native and a repo converted with cvs2svn.
You should not be seeing that error. If svn thinks it's under version
control it is. If you use the repo
browser does it show up there? Maybe someone else added it.
