I am now using TSVN 1.1.3, build 2502, but I'm not seeing the above
change. Maybe we're talking about two different things?

It's useful to me when I update to know whether I received changes from
other developers.
If there is a statistic that summarizes this, I can know at a glance
that if it is non-zero I need to scan the list for what individual files
have changed.
A statistic that combines this number with other things (e.g. the number
of folders whose meta info has changed) masks the information I'm
looking for.

A statistic summarizing how many folders' meta info has changed may be
useful to somebody, but it doesn't mean much to me.
