I have been trying to deal with this today, but "real work" has got in the
way. I also noticed another problem in the latest version to do with the
way that sub-directories are displayed in the Add dialog, and that has
distracted me somewhat.

I suspect that the sensitivity to sort order has been there a good while,
but it wasn't until I messed around with partitioning/resorting the list
that anyone noticed it.

The re-work that Stefan and I are engaged in at the moment should generally
improve consistency in the way that lists of paths are passed around the
software, so should allow problems like this to be fixed more simply.
