[TSVN] New lines in "log message history" drop-down

Recently I noticed that the new lines in the log messages are
displayed in the "log messages history" drop-down as a couple
(probably because they are actually 2 characters in DOS) of squares.
Of course they can't be rendered as new lines but squares? Is that
normal?
