Another great release, TortoiseSVN really is a great tool! Thanks to
everyone who is working on it. :)
I was wondering, however, why Tortoise's releases are so closely tied to
subversion's releases? Of course you want to release ASAP after a
subversion release so that you can use the latest svn libraries, but we
never get releases between subversion releases. Indeed the version
numbering scheme seems to be fixed to subversion's version numbers - as
Tortoise is a seperate product, this has always seemed a little strange
to me. Sometimes when there are significant bugfixes/improvements in
Tortoise between subversion releases it might make sense to release earlier.
Apologies if this is a FAQ, but I've not seen it mentioned before.
