If there is already content in the log message and you insert an item
from the history which does not have a line break at the end, it would
be helpful if a line break was inserted automatically, so the 2 messages
do not run into each other. In fact it would not hurt if you always
added a line break - the user can always delete it if there is too much
space.

If you open the history combo, it holds onto the focus until you select
an item. Sometimes you do not want to insert any of the historical
items. You should be able to press ESC, or just click somewhere else in
the dialog to switch focus to another control without inserting
anything.

Tested on revision 1831.
