I'll have to try that, there may be a market for a decent editor too then

Of course if we find one that does work we can merge that in...

Exactly.
Once one (or more) of us who come up with big ideas but no code start
actually doing some decent work on it there may be a reason to consider
this.

NB this isn't a flame as I consider myself to be a prime example of this.
Trouble is don't use windows much at home and I don't have the time at work,
so I'd be more likely to work on a cross-platform utility if I do find the
time.
