Thanks, I should have spotted that, but I was mostly trying on non-versioned
files and it never occurred to me to look there, even more convenient than
'send to'.

You can't. I suppose I'm trying to using TMerge as a general purpose tool,
so those labels don't have any meaning, I wanted to diff between three
files, but not in a version control context.

I do a lot of data manipulation and diff tools make testing easy.
Patch files are very useful, in one case I have to do a diff between two
sets of over a hundred files and make sure I haven't broken anything. Gnu
(e)diff is my friend here, but if there is a patch file of non-zero length I
want a gui to do the checking.
I'm probably a niche market I know but diff/merge tools are incredibly
useful to me generally.
