I second that! We're currently evaluating SVN as a CVS replacement, and
this is quite confusing for our long time CVS users.. i can't count how
often someone checked out something, and had an icon filled desktop
afterwards ;)
I think this would be best implemented as a checkbox like "use
repository's directory structure" or something like that. I would also
like this as a default value ;) (or at least being remebered for the
next checkout). I would also like the URL field being split up into a
ServerRoot and Repository edit box. (so you can see which repository is
to be checked out more easily.. now it's somewhere in the middle of the
URL, which can be quite error prone.)
