FYI,
I've installed the last 3 versions (1.0.7 - 1.1RC1) w/out uninstalling
first. I just install over the existing copy and reboot. Haven't had a
problem yet. (XP SP1)

To be on the safe side, you should reboot after uninstalling, and then
at least logon/logoff after installing the new version. The reason for
the reboot is that installers the MoveFileEx() API with the
MOVEFILE_DELAY_UNTIL_REBOOT flag set for locked files. So they're
removed only during a reboot. I don't know what happens if you install a
new version without rebooting after the uninstall.
