To be on the safe side, you should reboot after uninstalling, and then
at least logon/logoff after installing the new version. The reason for
the reboot is that installers the MoveFileEx() API with the
MOVEFILE_DELAY_UNTIL_REBOOT flag set for locked files. So they're
removed only during a reboot. I don't know what happens if you install a
new version without rebooting after the uninstall.
