[TSVN] windows explorer crashing

I have a problem since ive installed tortoisesvn, at least it seems this is the
case. I noticed there was a similar posting on july 17th, but with no
response, of an XP user(daryl robbins) right clicking on any quick launch icon
and explorer crashing.

im using tortoisesvn 1.0.8 on windows 2000. This problem of explorer crashing
seems intermittant. It dont have any particular pattern as to how it gets
triggered. Once it crashes, each subsequent attempt to start explorer again it
continues to crash. I have to reboot in order to get explorer to work again.
Im not at all sure that it is tortoisesvn causing this problem, but if you have
found that users are experiencing the same thing and come up with a resolution
i would appreciate any info you can give me.
