[TSVN] Strange error on merging

Hi all, I use tortoise svn 1.0.8 on WinXP, and when trying to merge I get this
error :
"Can't open 'tmp': acess denied"

I don't have administrator rights, so I suppose this explains why I get this
error.
I haven't tried this on previous versions of tortoisesvn

Can anyone help?
