Thanks for that. I didn't have a proxy defined in Internet Explorer and
TortoiseSVN 1.0.7 gave me the PROPFIND error. Your suggestion of turning ON
the "automatically detect settings" box gets TortoiseSVN working again for
me.

The only problem is, I really don't want IE to try to automatically detect
a proxy, I would rather just have no proxy. :-(
