Eric - I am using WindowsXP. That is what's not working.
 
Stefan - It doesn't work for an update, or a commit, and I would gain the display being correct if it did work as it's a buggy looking behavior for the display not to be updated.
 
However, I totally understand if windows "just won't do it" and you don't want to try to use some serious hacks to get around it. One thing you might think about is only trying to run the hacks if you've detected that the OS is WindowsXP. But I understand what you're saying, and I appreciate the the time you've taken to get back to me. Thanks.
