Not a bug, but it is an annoyance, and doesn't achieve the intended
results. Forcing *any* comment is silly (I can type 10 Xs as my comment
almost as easily as 1 X. I pretty fast with asdfasfasdf too). Now
maybe if you could force a *meaningful* comment, that could be
justifyable. But plz... don't try to do that!
I use svn as my own personal versioning file system, where I regularly
commit changes which don't represent any particular state that can be
easily described ("Rats, running late for that appt. I'll commit this
and get back to it later. What, I have to enter a log message? Ok:
pwerpwerqoiweriou. There...").
