There is an update_1.8.x site. I would only suggest using it if you are on
Windows since it includes the JavaHL for 1.7. I am not planning to formally
announce the existence of this version until the 1.7 RC comes out (hopefully
next week).

I am using it exclusively and it is working great for me.
