RE: Re: [Subclipse-users] Subclipse doesn't work on Eclipse 3.6 Helios JEE

Eclipse 3.6 (EE version) on a Linux [32-bit] box doesn't seem to recognize Subclipse 1.6.x. I've tried installed via marketplace as well as through the updater with similar results.
Subclipse installs and runs find on older versions of Eclipse under Linux.
As far as directories not being writeable, the plugin installed to my ~/.eclipse directory. Eclipse knows that subclipse is installed (it only gives the option to uninstall in the marketplace), however, it's not listed under Team, nor are any of the SVN views or perspectives available.
Any recommendations on how to proceed?
