[Subclipse-users] JavaHL fails to checkout all my files !

Hi folks,
Here's a curiosity that is actually blocking us, and for the life of me cannot identify where the issue is.
Using subclipse and JavaHL in Eclipse I can connect and authenticate to our SVN repository using HTTPS. When I run a checkout, I only retrieve a small number of the versioned files. Running Update repeatedly will eventually populate all our folders correctly - but this is not ideal!
I've looked at the following and am still in the dark:
* Authentication - nope, I can checkout and commit those files that DID get checked out just fine
In essence it looks like JavaHL and subclipse only requests a small number of files - or it requests them all and something flags a limit to how much can then be subsequently sent back and says "done" or something else?
I think it's a config issue of JavaHL/Eclipse or am I wrong?
Version setup:
Eclipse Version: 3.4.1 (windows)
Any ideas would be wonderful!
Thanks in advance,
Stefano
