[Subclipse-users] Two versions of Subclipse installed at the same time?

I recently allowed Ubuntu 8.04's update manager to update Subversion
from 1.4.x to 1.5.1dfsg1-1ubuntu2~hardy2. The 1.5.x command line
client works fine, but I am now having trouble with Subclipse. I
have tried updating Subversion/Subclipse/JavaHL but still get
messages about "This client is too old to work with working copy"
when I try to commit. I suspect that the problem is related to a
mixed-up install of Subclipse.

When I look at the software that is installed in Eclipse 3.4.0 using
Help > Software Updates > Installed Software tab, it lists

Subclipse 1.2.4

while from Help > Software Updates (with submenus) > Manage
Configuration > Eclipse SDK (in tree view) > /usr/share/eclipse shows

Subclipse 1.4.5

Do I have two versions installed, just in different places? How do I
get rid of the old one? I have been using Eclipse's standard update
mechanism, not compiling from source or manually installing
stuff. In case it is relevant, the versions of the other stuff that
is installed matches in the two views:

JNA Library 3.0.5
Subclipse 1.2.4
Subversion Client Adapter 1.5.2
Subversion Native Library Adapter (JavaHL) 1.5.2.1
SVNKit Client Adapter 1.5.2
SVNKit Library 1.2.0.4927

Also, Synaptic shows that I have the following installed:

libsvn1 1.5.1dfsg1-1ubuntu2-hardy2
libsvn-java 1.5.1dfsg1-1ubuntu2-hardy2
subversion 1.5.1dfsg1-1ubuntu2-hardy2

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
