[Subclipse-users] checking out the .project file in a repository

Hello -

  We want to keep the .project file in our SVN repository, using variables instead of absolute user account directories. (easy enough...)
  However, we can't figure out either:
  1) How to lock .project file in the SVN perspective;
    -or-
  2) How to get the .project file to show up in the Resource perspective project tree.

  I've tried adding .project as an extension for files, etc. in the eclipse
menus/properties/preferences, but nothing seems to work. I also tried linking the file-system .project file to a linked resource in the project tree, but that didn't work either.

  Any help appreciated, thanks

    Sean Parker
