That said, I'm a heavy mouse-wheel user in XP (in page-at-a-time mode,
which most apps have bugs with) and have never run into this problem
with any version of Eclipse - currently using a Logitech G5 mouse.
Sounds like your mouse driver is maybe not recognizing the vertical
scrollbar, and trying to be "helpful"..
