I'm just using Basic authentication at the Apache server, so that shouldn't
be the problem.

I just switched to JavaHL. It was a bit of work, though. I had to compile
it, which means that I had to check out and compile apr and apr-util, which
means that I had to download and install autoconf and libtool to create the
configure scripts for apr and apr-util. In any case, that's all done and
I'm getting a different problem now.

The conclusion for me is that the SVNKit adapter doesn't work. I'm sure
there's more to it than that, but I'm going to proceed from here with
JavaHL. I haven't looked at the settings yet, but I'll post another thread
if I can't figure out the solution.

Thank you for your help.
