Adding it would not be terribly hard. There are two reasons we did not do it:

1. I think it makes a lot less sense in Subclipse than it does in
TortoiseSVN. Because our checkouts have to == Eclipse projects.

2. This feature of Subversion has always been broken. The checkout
works fine, but if you use update, it pulls everything else down.

#2 is fixed in 1.5 and there are plans on the roadmap to integrate the
underlying feature into the UI.
