Hello Mark
Thanks for that - missed that gcj was being used.
Have installed jre1.6.0 for AMD64 Linux from Sun and set PATH to include
JRE bin dir and JAVA_HOME to point at JRE dir.
Once I had added /usr/lib64 to LD_LIBRARY_PATH so it could find
SVNJavaHL lib I now get prefs working and repo explorer asks for a repo
URI. I put in a valid URI and get this now:
#
# An unexpected error has been detected by Java Runtime Environment:
#
# SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00002aaaca5a5866, pid=13462, tid=1092860224
#
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (1.6.0-b105 mixed mode)
# Problematic frame:
# C [libapr-1.so.0+0x16866] apr_palloc+0x26
#

hs_err_pid13462.log

Any ideas - is JRE1.6.0 too new? I couldn't find the 1.4 download on
Sun's site.
