I am confused by your wording of the problem as some of the actions you want
to perform do not make sense to me as to where you want to perform them.
1) Do you have existing project/code in an SVN Repository? If so, then you
drill down in the repository view, right-click and choose Checkout. If the
project in the repository does not contain the Eclipse project files, you
will have the option of running the Create New Project wizard. Perhaps
someone checked in a .project file that was not valid and it needs to be
deleted?
2) If this is a new project in your workspace, then to add it to the
repository you do Team -> Share.
