Re: [Subclipse-users] Importing SVN stored projects

Ok - more detail on importing.

If you have a large tree - of which a branch is an "elipse" workspace
root with several projects in it.

Then when you launch eclipse in the restored workspace things are fine.

BUT - if you "import" one of the projects to clear and re-checkout
the project (which I was doing to test subversion, or which you
would do when eclipse gets corrupted) it will barf with an error from
subversion ([directory] is missing or not locked)

even if you delete the directory either manually or delete the
project inside eclipse and do all permutations of clearing and
exiting eclipse to prevent caching.

However if there is *no* .svn/entries entry for the project sub
directory in the eclipse workspace then all works fine. ie: it does
not deal well with project directories which are themselves branches
on a larger tree above an eclipse workspace.
