[Subclipse-users] Missing Feature: "Override and Commit"

Hi list,
there was a post in June about a missing feature in subclipse that would allow one to override and commit: using the workspace version of a file (even older revision) and commit it into the repository even if it's newer.
I find this feature really usefull as well. I could not find any request in the issues regarding this.
Did someone implement this feature?
