There should not be any issues using Subclipse and svnserve, however there
are issues with using Subclipse and TortoiseSVN 1.4 or any Subversion 1.4
client (Server version does not matter). Subversion 1.4 introduced a new
working copy format. Subclipse includes the Subversion 1.3 client
libraries. Once a working copy is touched with a 1.4 client it is
modified so that it can no longer be read by a 1.3 client. You can
manually update Subclipse to be using 1.4 libraries. See this:
