See this post for some guidance on getting the pieces needed to make
subclipse work with the new subversion:

(Caveat: I haven't done any of this myself, I've just seen it come up
several times lately on the list. If that link doesn't help you
might try searching/browsing the list archive at
http://subclipse.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList. This is
a known incompatibility that can be easily fixed.)
