[Subclipse-users] Install Problem, Bad JavaHL Version?

From: Joel Schmidt <jasymail_at_yahoo.com>

I'm running Windows XP Home (SP2), and just did a vanilla install of:

 Eclipse 3.2.0
 Subversion 1.4.0
 TortoiseSVN 1.4.0, Build 7501 - 32 Bit , 2006/09/15 21:34:55

All using the standard Win32 installers, and

Subclipse 1.1.6 from http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.2.x, using the Eclipse plugin updater, as per the install instructions.

I then used TortoiseSVN to create a repository. Everything seems ok.

But, when I try to connect to the repository in Eclipse (using a file: url), I get the following error:

 Couldn't open a repository
svn: Unable to open an ra_local session to URL
svn: Unable to open repository 'file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Yong%20Xun/My%20Documents/JavaDevelopment/SVNRepositories'
 Unsupported repository version
svn: Expected format '3' of repository; found format '5'

Googling around leads me to believe that perhaps the version of JavaHL that's being used is too old, and in fact according to the Eclipse plugin version info, JavaHL 1.1.0 was what was installed. But from the repositories, it looks like 1.3.2 is the most current...

Can anybody give me an idea what's going on and how to fix it?

 Thanks much.
