[Subclipse-users] Subclipse ignores .project file

We are using Subclipse at 1.0.3 with IBM RAD6.0 (Eclipse 3.0.2.1). When
we share a project the .project metadata file is not added by default.
If I add the file I see the dialogue "Add Ignored Resource? You have
explicitly asked to version control one or more resources that otherwise
would have been ignored. Continue?".

However, the filename does not appear to match any pattern in the
ignored resources list (below),

"RCS"
"RCSLOG"
"SCCS"
"CVS.adm"
"tags"
"TAGS"
".make.state"
".nse_depinfo"
"*~"
"#*"
".#*"
",*"
"_$*"
"*$"
"*.old"
"*.bak"
"*.BAK"
"*.orig"
"*.rej"
".del-*"
"*.a"
"*.olb"
"*.obj"
"*.so"
"*.exe"
"*.Z"
"*.elc"
"*.ln"
".DS_Store"
*.class
*.contrib*
*.keep*
*.merge*
*.mkelem*
.cmake.state
.svn
_svn

Any ideas?
