In Eclipse go to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration. Select Subclipse from the tree view, then click Disable. That should do what you want.

Hi,
I need to turn off subclipse plugin for some projects, even if they are processed by subversion and they have valid .svn directories inside. I think it's not possible with the current version. When are .svn found, subclipse tries to handle project.
Why I need to turn it off? I have some projects mapped from remote location through slow connection (smbmount). I want to use Eclipse only to edit files inside these projects and process all subversion commands at the remote location (because I don't need to process all file operations throught the slow connection). Now subclipse checks for changes inside every project after every save and whole IDE hangs for some minutes until it's done.
If it's possible to turn it off, please tell me how. Otherwise it's idea for a new issue to issue tracker.
Petr
