What is this directory? The path to your workspace? Just wondering.

This is a normal part of sharing a project. We confirm that the project
does not already exist.

The linked task would imply that they are running into this problem:

The details might not match up exactly, but only because of the scenario.
I think the underlying problem is the same. Eclipse 3.2 fixed the
underlying problem if you can use that.
