I right clicked on the project when I did SVN, a file when I did CVS.

I would love to do this. I even spent a day or two looking into it. I
cannot find any evidence that the icons on a menu can be dynamically set.


PS - Assuming I did try to be like CVS. Do you know if there is any rhyme
or reason to the actions which get icons? I cannot find any, so what I
did was make most actions that open views have icons, and then Branch and
Merge since CVS did the same.
