Another data point.

This suggests that the problem may be platform specific, not Eclipse
release specific.

- Eclipse 3.1.2 (M20060118-1600)
- Windows XP
- JDK 1.5.0_06-b05
- Subclipse 1.0.1 (Win32 Fragment 1.0.0)

NullPointerException described above occurs. Though it is not
displayed in a dialog box (the dialog box just talks about "internal
error" and gives no details), it is written to the log.

So, windows-specific?
