You have to create whatever folder your structure you desire. Subclipse,
like Subversion, does not care what the names are nor does it make any
distinctions between them.

Open the Eclipse online help and in the Subclipse section go to Tasks ->
Maintaining Branches. Then read some of that as well as the things it
links to. Working with a branch is no different than working with trunk.
The real issue is just how to manage merges. So you mainly want to read
up on that.

The other command that is relevant is Switch. This lets you "switch" your
working copy between two different URL's, such as trunk and a branch. It
is like an intelligent update that figure out what needs to be done to
switch you to the other location.
