[Subclipse-users] 0.9.108 + 3.2M5 Reset My Workbench

From: Christian Nelson <cnelson_at_slac.com>

Last night I upgraded from subclipse 0.9 (from about a month ago - maybe
rc 2 or 3) to the latest (rc 6).

I did this first on my day-to-day eclipse installation (3.2M5 + WTP),
and when the workbench restarted, my entire UI configuration (views and
perspectives) was reset/cleared. I then did a clean install of 3.2M5A,
configured my workbench views and perspectives, then installed
subclipse. The same thing happened. Once I configure my UI after the
initial reset, it's fine.

I'm running against JDK 1.5_04 (and _06) on a Windows Xp Professional
laptop.

I don't see any errors in the error log that stand out as the cause.
Though I do have several instances of this from around the same time:

While loading class
"org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.ui.console.ConsoleDocument$ConsoleLine",
thread "main" timed out waiting (5000ms) for thread "Worker-1" to finish
starting bundle "org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.ui". To avoid deadlock,
thread "main" is proceeding but
"org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.ui.console.ConsoleDocument$ConsoleLine"
may not be fully initialized.

That may be from after I started using the upgraded subclipse, and not
have anything to do with the reseting of my workbench.

Any ideas?

Christian
