[Subclipse-users] Odd failure to connect to repository

From: Karl Auer <kauer_at_biplane.com.au>

Hi there.

I am seeing this rather minimal message when I try to connect to a the
repository "https://svn.id.ethz.ch/jumbo" (which is up and working, I
can access it fine from another machine):

svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/jumbo'
svn: SSLv3

What does this mean? I am completely stumped on this one.

It happens even when I give a non-existent server name, or a
non-existent path, which rather suggests that it's a fundamental
inability to do SSL at all, but I don't see what I can twiddle to make
that work.

Background: This is Eclipse 3.1.0 with subclipse 0.9.105, all running on
Ubuntu Linux.

Regards, K.
