You ask so nice I will get right on it.

Seriously though, this isn't even on the radar and I would be surprised if
it were ever implemented. Subversion is a lot more strict about the local
structure and it is not conducive to doing this. Subversion has a built in
feature called "svn:externals" that in some cases can do this for you. In
that case, you just checkout the project and you would get all of the
pieces automatically. It is not as flexible as CVS but usually can be used
with some modifications to what you might have done in the past.
