Connecting to existing repository?

Hi there,

Sorry I seem to be stuck on something trivial: How do I create a new project
and checkout the code from an existing SVN repository?

In Eclipse's "New Project" dialog I get the option of CVS but not SVN.

If I try and share a blank project and connect to the repository it tells me
the directory already exists?

Any help gratefully received!
