I don't understand your question.

I want the Subclipse source code such that I can examine the NPE in the
Eclipse Java debugger.

nope. They are small Java source files.

It didn't turn up anything according to the guy who maintains SVN here.
No other error messages in the SVN log either.

I've tried JavaHL & JavaSVN on the same machine. Both fail, but with
different error messages(see previous mail).

I found that I could check out Subversion source code on my Linux box
using "svn, version 1.1.4 (r13838)"

However, the same failed when I tried to check them out from the command
line using CygWin "svn, version 1.2.0 (r14790)"

My Linux box and Windows machine are in two different physical
locations, behind different ISP's so I wouldn't conclude that this is a
CygWin problem.
